What the integration covers
- Products and variants: names, descriptions, attributes and categories reach the shop catalog when they change in Akeneo.
- Images and files: product media sync together with the product record.
- No intermediate files: data flows directly from the PIM to the shop — no CSV export or manual import.
- One active PIM: one PIM connector runs on an installation at a time, so you always know where product data comes from.
How it works in practice
Akeneo stays the source of truth for product data. The shop shows buyers current descriptions, parameters and images — as in the PIM, without delay from manual work.
The integration uses the same module model as Stripe or Comarch ERP Optima: you enable it in the admin panel, configure the connection, and the platform core stays untouched.
